Orlansoft Releases Task List and Maintenance Order in Orlansoft ERP

Orlansoft has officially introduced the Task List menu in Orlansoft ERP version 10.1.4.01 and Maintenance Order in version 10.1.6.01.

The Task List menu can be integrated into both Service Order and Maintenance Order transactions. This feature is designed to sequence the specific tasks (work steps) required to complete a business process. The Task List serves as a standardized guide and automation tool to ensure consistent work execution and minimize human error.

Key Features of Task List:

• Standardized Work Step Sequencing: Each Task ID defines a specific sequence of Task Numbers that must be executed, complete with estimated durations and standard values. These values can include Conditions (Yes/No), Ranges of Standard Values, or Task Descriptions.
• Streamlined Business Policy Application: Each Task ID can be mapped to multiple Service Items simultaneously. For example, a single Task ID for “10,000-Km Interval Periodic Service” can be assigned to both the 10,000-Km and 30,000-Km Service Items. These items retain distinct Item IDs due to different selling prices and separate parties responsible for the service fees.
• Material Resource Planning: Required materials (spare parts and consumables) and toolkits can be pre-defined directly within the Task List menu.

The Maintenance Order menu functions as a digital work order to plan, schedule, and execute equipment maintenance. This feature is crucial for maintaining smooth manufacturing operations and preventing machine downtime. Through Maintenance Orders, you can accurately track maintenance costs per Equipment ID—capturing everything from estimates to actual usage of spare parts, consumables, toolkits, and technician labor hours. Furthermore, the updates in Orlansoft ERP version 10.1.7.01 simplify General Ledger Chart of Accounts (GLCOA) configurations for these machine maintenance expenses.
